OUR STORY

From academic roots to applied intelligence

Founded in 2005, Edge Analytics grew from collaborations between academics, researchers and spatial modelling practitioners at the University of Leeds. Our early work focused on demographic forecasting and location modelling for the development of places, cities and regions.

Since then, we have expanded our analytical capabilities, proprietary platforms and sector expertise while retaining the rigour, transparency and intellectual curiosity on which the business was founded.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE INTELLIGENCE

Our team

Our multidisciplinary team combines expertise in geography, demography, data science, software development and spatial modelling with a detailed understanding of the sectors in which our clients operate.
